This Cast Iron Fondue Set is very versatile and can be used for Swiss Fondues (cheese), Fondues Bourguignonne (meat) and the increasingly popular Dessert Fondues. The enamelled cast iron pot can be heated on a cooker hob to start the fondue and is then kept hot at the table using the burner.

The Fondue Cooking Pot is made from cast iron which has been finished with high quality vitreous enamel. Cast iron holds heat very well and will keep the fondue hot with very little extra heat. A separate top fits onto the pot and has small indentations to keep the forks from falling together. The Cooking Pot has a solid base and is suitable for heating on all hobs, including ceramic and halogen cookers.

It stands securely on a heavy cast iron base, which also holds the burner.

The dual fuel burner is fully adjustable to give heat sufficient to maintain oil hot enough to cook meat or low enough to keep a cheese or dessert fondue warm without burning. It can be used with fondue gel fuel if desired.

The 6 stainless steel fondue forks have stay-cool handles and each has a different coloured end for personal identification.
